At The Royal Mane we have created a four-step process for grooming success that is similar to the process of grooming human hair, and is designed to maintain the health and appearance of a horse's coat, mane and tail.
The four steps are:
- Cleanse: This step involves washing the horse with Shampoo and Conditioner to remove dirt, sweat, and other impurities. The Royal Mane Sovereign Shampoo and Crown Conditioner are specifically formulated to treat, strengthen, protect, nourish and soften so your horse glows with health. With both products rich in Argan Oil they not only cleanse stubborn dirt and sweat away they also hydrate and moisturize the horse's skin, which can help to prevent dryness, itching, and flaking. Argan oil also has anti-inflammatory properties which can help to reduce inflammation and irritation in the horse's skin and hair which is handy for those horses that suffer QLD itch or similar conditions.
- Repair: After cleansing, the next step is to repair any damage that may have been caused by environmental factors, such as sun exposure, or by the horse's own rubbing or scratching. This can be done with The Royal Treatment which is similar to a hair mask or intensive conditioning treatment that you would put in your own damaged hair but made for horses. Infused with cold pressed certified organic Argan oil, aloe vera, wheat protein and macadamia nut oil, it is specially formulated to deeply repair damaged manes and tails by strengthening and hydrating. The result is a soft, shiny and most incredibly lustrous mane and tail you've ever seen!
- Protect: The protect step is all about protecting the horse's coat, mane and tail from further damage. This can be done by using grooming products that protect the coat from sun exposure, such as coat conditioners, sprays, and oils, or by using fly repellents to protect from insect bites. The Royal Mane’s Supreme Serum is the ultimate protectant for your horse’s mane and tail. It contains pure, cold pressed certified organic Argan oil to deeply hydrate and protect the delicate cuticle of the mane and tail, sealing split ends and promoting hair growth whilst increasing softness and shine.
- Maintain: The final step is to maintain the health and appearance of the horse's coat, mane and tail. This includes regular grooming, regular trims and clipping if necessary, regular treatments, and brushing - this is where The Regal Detangler comes in. It contains pure, cold pressed certified organic Argan oil to deeply hydrate and protect the delicate cuticle of the mane and tail, sealing split ends and promoting hair growth whilst increasing softness and shine. Spray in the mane, tail and all over the body and brush the hair with The Wonder Grooming brush.
